I'm Melissa Mbugua. Ecosystem architect. 

I thrive at the intersection of creativity, tech and impact - building bridges between ideas and reality. My mission is to model the future of equitable organizations by centering the needs of underrepresented people in the Majority World. With 15+ years of working across continents, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most dynamic teams and organizations—strengthening tech and creative ecosystems in Africa and Asia, supporting startups, and helping shape the future of media, entertainment, music, film and fashion. I’ve served as a Director at Creatives for Climate and now advise on the Impact Council at D&AD. My academic roots are a mix of Information Technology, Business, and International Development—because why choose one lens when you can see the world through many?
